Ghana coach Charles Akonnor has presented three Black Satellites players with an invitation to the Black Stars ahead of the 2021 African Cup of Nations (Afcon) qualifiers against South Africa and Sao Tome and Principe this month.
The trio, goalkeeper Ibrahim Danland, right-back Philemon Baffour and attacking midfielder Fatawu Isshaku, have been rewarded with the call-up of the senior team after highlighting in the Mauritania U-20 Afcon.
It was the key Black Satellites winning the tournament for the fourth time.
Isshaku was awarded the MVP of the tournament, Danlad won the best goalkeeper award and Baffuor was rock solid.
The three players will join the rest of the team on Tuesday March 16 to continue preparation for the remaining two qualifying matches of the African Cup of Nations.
Ghana will face South Africa on March 25 before hosting Sao Tome and Principe four days later.
The Black Stars are at the top of Group C with 9 points and need a point from their last two games to qualify for Cameroon.
