Yesterday, December 1, 2020, Adom TV aired a video allegedly of the president receiving a $ 40,000.00 bribe that was shown during airtime purchased by the Democratic National Congress (NDC).
Now it has come to the attention of Adom TV Management that the content of the video as it was broadcast does not represent the full story as it understands it, which was in fact a video of the then candidate Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in October 2016 receiving a donation of GH ₵ 40,000.00 for his campaign. Adom TV unreservedly apologizes for any harm or embarrassment the video may have caused the president and admits the post was in error.
Management wishes to state that such video has been removed from all of its social media channels and that steps have been taken to prevent it from occurring in the future.
