Kimathi Rawlings’ name doesn’t sound Ghanaian and was rightly named after Kenyan freedom fighter Dedan Kimathi.

Kimathi Rawlings was born in the 1980s to former Ghanaian President Jerry John Rawlings and his wife Nana Konadu Agyemang-Rawlings.
3. Educational background
Kimathi had her basic education at North Ridge Lyceum and Morning Star School in Accra. He continued his secondary education at Millfield School in England.
He had his tertiary education at Aston University in Birmingham, England, where he studied Bachelor of Science (Bsc), International Business.
4. Academic credentials
The latest born Jerry Rawlings also holds two certificates from MDT International: 1. Introduction to Oil and Gas Production and 2. Negotiation Skills for the Oil and Gas Industry.

According to a report spotted by YEN.com.gh on Graphic.com.gh, Rawlings died at Korle Bu University Hospital after suffering from a certain ailment.
He was said to have been admitted to the hospital for about a week for an undisclosed illness and passed away in the early hours of Thursday, November 12, 2020.
