Shatta Wale has denied reports that he was attacked at Krofrom in the Ashanti region when he visited the city as part of his Kumerica invasion tour.
Taking to Facebook to react to the news, the dancehall artist said he recently ended a video shoot in the area.
“Still in Kumerica having fun as always and the unfortunates say they attacked me, for what? May I ask? ”Shatta Wale wrote.
His reaction comes after a viral video showed young people insulting the dancehall artist.
The youth group, who are affiliated with the late musician Junior US, were reportedly unhappy that Shatta Wale had not attended the funeral of the artist he was once friends with.
The group had allegedly warned the ‘Melissa’ hitmaker to stay away from Krofrom before their tour.
However, Shatta Wale said he ended the session successfully, adding that people are more focused on negative news.
