It is possible that Chelsea just took a big transfer hit from Kylian Mbappé.
While there has been very little indication that the Blues will attempt a sensational offer for the Paris Saint-Germain superstar, the Frenchman’s recent admission has opened the door to a possible future outing.
“I’m here. I’m in the project for the fourth year,” Mbappé told beIN SPORTS, quoted by Goal.

“The club’s 50th anniversary is an important year for the club, the fans, everyone, so I’ll be there whatever happens.
“I will try to recover trophies with the team and do my best.”
And given that Chelsea’s ambitious spending in the summer transfer window has just disappeared, along with claims that owner Roman Abramovich is willing to spend money again, anything could be possible.
However, it appears that Mbappé will not be the next big money signing at Stamford Bridge after the deals for Kai Havertz, Timo Werner and Ben Chilwell.
This is because PSG Sporting director Leonardo has announced that talks to extend the forward’s contract, which expires in 2022, are underway.
“We have started negotiations with Neymar, Mbappé and Di María to extend their contracts,” Leonardo said on the club’s official website. Bernat too, and Draxler is at the end of his contract.
“Some young people too. We will step up this.
“Remember that PSG suffered economic losses this year, we are in a difficult moment and it is not easy, but we are talking directly with Mbappé and Neymar.
“There is a question of time. There is the idea of an extension. We have reached the moment where we must have clearer situations.”

That said, it was only in September that the Times reported that the 21-year-old told PSG that he wants the 2020/21 campaign to be his last season in the French capital.
In addition, and perhaps providing the greatest encouragement to Chelsea, it is reported that he is interested in moving to the Spanish League or the Premier League.
But if you sign a new contract at Parc des Princes, your long-term future will be in Ligue 1.
