Former First Lady and National Democratic Party (NDP) standard-bearer Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings has accused the Democratic National Congress (NDC) and John Dramni Mahama of stealing the ideas from her 2016 manifesto.
According to her, in 2016, when she embraced the need for training and skills development, the then government insulted her.
However, in 2020, the NDC in its Manifesto is preaching skill training and development and ensuring that people’s manual labor is developed.
The former first lady was speaking in an interview on Accra-based GhOne TV monitored by MyNewsGh.com.
She said: “Now I can see that even though I was convicted in 2016 for skill development and skill training, for making salt, other people have stolen the idea and put it on their manifest.
“I heard it from former President Mahama say that now we can make salt and training and skills development the best, they were insulting me for that, but I said it is key to the development of a country. it can have twelve million people who go to school and all graduate. Every nation needs a categorization of specific duties. ”
