Bayelsa State Governor Duoye Diri has revealed that he named Big Brother Naija star Rebecca Nengi Hampson and Tarimotimi Sinclair, also known as Trikytee, as special assistants because they strongly identified with the state and the way they are behaved during the competition.
Governor Duoyo Diri appointed Nengi as Senior Special Assistant for Girls’ Development, while Trikytee was also appointed Special Assistant, however, a folder has not yet been attached.
Governor Duoye Diri said Friday during a meeting with Nengi and Trikytee that the Bayelsa state government is as proud of her as she is because she represents hope for the girl.

He said,
“On behalf of the people and government of the state of Bayelsa, I want to say that we are proud of you. Let our girls know that there is a lot they can achieve in various facets of life, ”Diri said of Nengi.
“As a result of your participation, we were told that if it weren’t for other factors, you are the de facto winner of the show. So you are welcome back home.
“We believe that now that you have been recognized nationally and internationally, you will be the face of Bayelsa and I hereby announce you as Senior Special Assistant to the Governor for Girls’ Development of Bayelsa.

- “The same goes for your former roommate, Tarimotimi Sinclair, also known as Trikytee. So the two are hereby appointed as Senior Special Assistants to the Governor. “
