The cause of the fire is unknown
On Thursday, the offices of Ghana Business News (GBN) were razed by fire in the regional capital of Greater Accra, Accra.
The Accra High Street building housed not only the online media portal, but also other administrative offices and a health center.
Although no casualties have been recorded, several properties found with thousands of Ghana cedis have been reported, destroyed in hell.
According to GBN editor-in-chief, who is also NewsBridge Africa’s CEO, Emmanuel K. Dogbevi, was called to the scene during rush hour to witness the tragedy.
Responding to the call, personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service and Ghana Police Service have yet to provide the affected occupants of the building with a possible cause of the fire.
