Liberal Party of Ghana (LPG) presidential candidate Kofi Akpaloo has asked special counsel Martin Amidu to resign immediately.

Contributing to Peace FM’s ‘Kokrokoo’ questioned the competence of Mr. Martin Amidu and said that since taking office he has not carried out any fruitful investigation or prosecuted anyone for wrongdoing.

He asked Mr. Amidu what he had done with the Airbus scandal involving a brother of former President John Dramani Mahama and regarding the name mentioned as Government Official 1 in the scandal, and that it helped all violators to register. .

He also tried to find out what the Special Prosecutor has done regarding other acts of corruption by government officials.

According to Kofi Akpaloo, the Special Prosecutor is not in a position to stay in his office.

He called on Mr. Amidu to vacate his office and also reimburse his salaries to the State.

“If we were in a serious country, Amidu should have quit by now because he doesn’t know his job. . . Martin Amidu must repay all the wages we have paid him because he has done nothing to deserve it. ” he is stressed.
