American rapper Meek Mill is among social media users not at all impressed with the show of support from some Nigerians for President Donald Trump.

The rapper recently reacted to a viral video clip that captured a procession of Nigerian citizens who took to the streets singing praises to the president of the United States.

Although the video has been circulating on social media, Mill appeared to have found it after the president posted it on his official Twitter page.

In his caption, Trump noted that it was indeed an honor to have a parade conducted on his behalf in the West African country.

Mill’s comment drew different reactions from Nigerians on the social media platform.

“Why can’t Africans make their own decisions without being told they have been brainwashed? If you love man, let him be! It’s a democracy, right? Everyone is free to love and support whoever want! “

Another Twitter user who responded to his comment wrote:

“I don’t seem to understand how the poor reason in Nigeria. They are always at the forefront of irrational things, channeling their energy into things they don’t have to do. Where were these people during the final sars / swat protest?”
