The first round of the FA Cup will take place over the next four days, but not as we know it.

It is the first of 40 matches, with the BBC showing 13 matches live over the weekend on its platforms, including FC United of Manchester v Doncaster on BBC Two on Saturday (17:30 GMT start).
The second round draw takes place on Monday and is live on BBC Two.

Games keep going despite lockdown
England’s four-week lockdown began on Thursday and lasts until Wednesday, December 2.
Elite sport continues behind closed doors during the confinement, but all grassroots football for adults and children is suspended.
No male team in leagues lower than the National Leagues North or South may train or play.
However, all first-round qualifiers, including those involving non-elite teams, will be played as scheduled from November 6-9.
Thirty-two non-league clubs have joined 48 clubs from League One and League Two in the first round.
They include 10 non-elite teams: Banbury United, FC United of Manchester, Maldon & Tiptree, Hayes & Yeading United, Skelmersdale United, South Shields, Marine, Bishop’s Stortford, Canvey Island, and Cray Valley Paper Mills.
All ties behind closed doors
Qualification for this season’s FA Cup began on August 31 when Essex Senior League’s Woodford Town beat London Colney 3-1 in the extra preliminary round.
The first-round lineup was completed on November 4 when Stockport County beat National League rival Chesterfield 4-0 in the fourth qualifying round to draw a League One Rochdale tie.
Although fans were allowed to attend some matches in qualifying, fans will not be able to enter the grounds to watch any of the 40 first-round qualifiers due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Sadly, that means there are no foil FA Cups on display within the grounds.
Direct to overtime, no repetitions
There will be no repeats of the FA Cup during the 2020-21 season to “ease the pressure” on the soccer calendar.
In qualifying, the tie after 90 minutes went straight to penalties to decide who would go to the next round.
In the first round, ties tied after 90 minutes will have an additional 30 minutes of overtime. If there is still no winner, it will be decided by a penalty shoot-out.
In the fourth qualifying round, Chesterfield beat Stockport on penalties after the tie ended 1-1 at full time.
However, the external link tie was ordered to be replayed after Chesterfield was found guilty by the Football Association of fielding an ineligible player.
Losing teams to win prize money
The FA Cup prize money has been cut in half from 2019-20 due to the financial impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
However, the losing teams will receive a portion of the prize money in the first round of the FA Cup to lessen the financial impact of the playoffs played behind closed doors.
Losing teams previously did not win prize money, but will get 25% – £ 5,657 – while the winners get the rest – £ 16,972.
The plan could be extended for the second round, which will take place on the weekend of November 28-29, before the current lockdown in England ends.
Who to look for
At least four non-league clubs are guaranteed a second-round spot after Bromley-Yeovil, Stortford of Brackley Town-Bishop, Banbury United-Canvey Island and Havant & Waterlooville-Cray Valley Paper Mills met each other. .
There are five tiers between the Premier Division of the Skelmersdale Northwest Counties League and the newly promoted English Football League Harrogate.
The North Chorley National League, who are the 2013 Wigan Athletic winners, received a pass in the first round after Macclesfield Town was liquidated in Superior Court.
Chorley entered the FA Cup in the second qualifying round stage and received a bye in the fourth qualifying round.
There are four teams from the eighth level of English football in the first round: Maldon & Tiptree, host of League Two Morecambe, Merseyside-based Marine are in League Two Colchester, Canvey Island visit the seventh level Banbury and Cray Valley Paper Mills are in sixth . tier Havant and Waterlooville.
