On December 7, 2020, Ghana will go to the polls to elect its president and member of parliament.

Currently, 275 parliamentary seats will be up for grabs on the aforementioned date.
One constituency that will be the center of attraction is Ayawaso West Wuogon, a seat occupied by NPP’s Lydia Alhssan.
However, NDC parliamentary candidate John Dumelo leaves no stone unturned as he has vowed to win the seat for his party.
The actor in recent months has intensified his campaign and many have tipped him to unseat the owner.

Meanwhile, Dumleo has apologized for asking NDC supporters to hit PNP supporters if they rig the elections.
In the video that has gone viral on social media, Dumelo said he was informed that the PNP plans to rig the elections and added that if they are caught, the NDC will beat them.
“We have heard that they want to steal the elections. If they do and we catch them, we will beat them”Dumelo said in the Akan language during a campaign tour.
He received massive reactions from the public, including actress Afia Schwar, for his comments.
The actor has taken a quick U-turn in his comments, asking to be forgiven because he is a man of peace.
In a more recent development, Dumelo graduated from the Ghana Institute of Public Administration and Management (GIMPA) to obtain his first degree in public administration.

In other news, Shatta Wale’s manager Bulldog has debunked President Nana Akufo-Addo’s popularity ahead of the December 7, 2020 election.
According to the tough talking artist manager, Sgatta Wale is bigger than the president.
In an interview supervised by YEN.com.gh On Accra’s Okay FM entertainment show, Bulldog explained that Shatta Wale has the charisma to attract more audiences than the President of Ghana.
