The Champions League group stage reached the halfway point when matchday three concluded on Wednesday with some of the top clubs in the competition consolidating their campaigns. Juventus, Chelsea and Barcelona were all winners. However, Manchester United was bothered by Istanbul Basaksehir and PSG was eliminated by Red Bull Leipzig.

Highlights
Haaland records a double for Dortmund: The Norwegian striker was able to connect, scoring two goals. Look at this one from minute 32.
Magomed Suleymanov set finale: Krasnodar made things interesting in the first half when Suleymanov opened the scoring in the 17th minute on a set piece against Sevilla.
Álvaro Morata makes his way for Juventus: The Spanish forward has been in charge of trying to find more the back of the net this season, and opened the scoring on Wednesday with this goal in the seventh minute.
Philip Caicedo equals Lazio: The Serie A team was down and nearly eliminated before Caicedo substituted and provided this tie.
Edin Visca keeps Istanbul ahead: Visca ended his career and the chance in the area after a Demba Ba dummy to give Istanbul enough to beat Manchester United.
Christopher Nkunku brings the level of RB Leipzig: The former PSG player could be on the roster today, as Nkunku provided a clinical ending to the draw in an eventual victory for the Bundesliga side.

Youssef En-Nesyri, Seville: The Moroccan international had done well to score goals and win Sevilla’s victory, achieving both the tie and the game winner while Sevilla played with one man less. CLASSIFICATION: 10
Demba Ba, Istanbul: The 35-year-old forward is older than his current club and was responsible for making history by scoring Istanbul’s first goal in the Champions League. SCORE: 8
Álvaro Morata, Juventus: A solid performance from the Spanish international in his 100th appearance after a poor performance last week. Scoring two goals ensured the victory of Juventus. SCORE: 9
Timo Werner, Chelsea: The German forward was active in the area and was responsible for converting two penalty kicks tonight, keeping the Rennes defense on their toes. SCORE: 10
