Ghana’s new and active cases have skyrocketed once again.

According to recent updates from the Ghana Health Service (GHS), the new cases registered as of November 1, 2020 are 132.

As of October 29, 2020, active cases stood at 620 from a previous count of 589. Then it rose to 819 and now 877.

The cumulative figure is 48,643 and the number of recoveries / downloads has increased to 47,446.

The number of deaths remains 320.

As of November 1, 2020, the number of international traveler infections at Kotoka International Airport is 150.

Meanwhile, health experts have urged Ghanaians to continue to abide by safety protocols and avoid living as if the virus is no longer with us.
