Real Madrid have yet to offer a new contract to club captain and iconic central defender Sergio Ramos.
The details are detailed in a report by Deportes Cuatro, which ensures that Madrid will offer the Spanish international a new contract, but they are still not sure if a one or two year contract would be preferable.
The report adds that the 34-year-old intends to end his playing career at Los Blancos and has no doubts that he would like to renew his contract.
However, he has yet to hear from the club’s president, Florentino Pérez, and there has been no progress on the possibility of a new contract being offered imminently.
On January 1, 2021, Ramos will be able to sign with another club as he will have entered the last six months of his contract and will therefore be able to hold talks elsewhere within the terms of his contract.
