Teen sensation Matthew Cudjoe was left out of the new players introduced by Legon Cities ahead of the start of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League.

The Royals unveiled 12 new players with Ghana’s all-time top scorer, Asamoah Gyan, at the helm.

Matthew Anim-Cudjoe, who was hired by the club as part of the Asamoah Gyan deal, was absent during the inauguration due to his commitment to the national team assignment.

GHANAsoccernet.com contacted his coach, Samuel Anim-Addo, who confirmed that the young man will be introduced by the club at a later date.

“They are going to unveil it soon,” Samuel Anim Addo told GHANAsoccernet.com about the player’s absence among the current players revealed.

The Royals begin their league campaign against Berekum Chelsea as the season begins.
