Andre Ayew put on an impressive performance at Liberty Stadium, scoring the second goal in Swansea’s 2-0 win over Blackburn in the Championship on Saturday.

The Ghana captain scored in the second half after Ben Cabango gave the home side an advantage in the 25thth minute.

It is Ayew’s fourth goal in nine league games this season.

Cabango marked his return to the starting eleven by scoring his second goal of the season in the 25th minute.

Ayew, captain of the hosts in the absence of Matt Grimes, secured victory just after the hour, when he found the net for the third consecutive meeting between the sides.

Swansea is now second in the table with 18 points, four behind the leader Reading.

Ayew has been in great shape and has been named to the Black Stars squad for the crucial qualifiers against Sudan.

The Black Stars will face Sudan on 12 November in Cape Coast and will play the North Africans five days later in Khartoum.

They lead Group D with six points from their first two matches, having beaten South Africa and São Tomé and Príncipe last year in November.
