Mr. Ofori-Atta requested GH ¢ 27 billion with respect to the period from January to March 2021.

Discussing the minister’s request today, Minority Leader Haruna Idrissu expressed concern about Ghana’s rising debt and expressed concern that this could spell ruin if a new government takes over the country’s affairs. after the elections.

But Majority Leader Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu said the Akufo-Addo-led government, regardless of the challenges, has positioned the economy well to prevent any setbacks in 2021.
