Asamoah Gyan’s long-awaited return to the Ghana Premier League has been confirmed.

But Gyan has finally decided to go home. Many had thought that he would sign for Asante Kotoko, having expressed his desire to play for the Porcupine Warriors before his career ends.
Gyan, in recent interviews, reiterated his claim, but the Porcupine Warriors have stood by for Legon Cities FC to sign it.
Kotoko’s fans would be disappointed, but her return appears to be good news for all stakeholders in the league.
