The running mate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flag bearer, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyeman, has assured the people of the Oti region that the party will build a bridge over the Oti River to facilitate transportation in the Oti region. Oti.

He assured Dambai residents in the regional capital that if the NDC came to power after the December elections, their trouble crossing the river would no longer be a problem.

The party’s standard bearer, John Mahama, during his tour of some districts and municipalities of the Region, indicated his intentions to build a bridge over the Oti River if he returns to power in 2020.

The former president stated that before the 2016 elections a feasibility study was carried out, but that due to their defeat in the 2016 elections, they could not carry out the project.

Mr. Mahama, addressing hundreds of NDC supporters, also promised to build an ultra-modern market in Dambai, befitting the status of a regional capital.
