Former Hearts of Oak star Kofi Kordzi made an admirable debut for Muaither SC when he scored in a 2-2 draw with Al Shahania in Qatar’s second division league on Thursday.
Al Muaither has yet to record three points from his first two games at the 2020/21 Qatargas Championship.
After losing 2-0 to Al Shamal in the first game of the season, Muaither was determined to recover quickly when they welcomed Al Shahania at Thani bin Jassim Stadium.Thursday.
The hosts started the game brilliantly and deservedly went up courtesy of a Kofi Kordzi goal in the 23rd minute.
However, Muaither gave up his lead five minutes later.
Al Shahania scored his second in the 36th minute to make the score 2-1 before the break.
The Blues fought back and got their well deserved draw in the 73rd minute to set the score at 2-2.

Muaither it is nowadays 7th in the league record.
Kordzi joined the club from Hearts of Oak in a deal that reported at $ 150,000 last month.
