A beneficiary shares the importance of the laptop for her education
In campaign season, politicians do their best to keep their promises.
John Dumelo, who is the Democratic National Congress parliamentary candidate for the Ayawaso West Wuogon Electoral District, has already begun to fulfill one of his campaign promises in the hope that he will be elected to the office.
A key promise is to provide college students in your constituency with laptops to help them participate in online conferences, a teaching and learning feature that has become a necessity due to COVID-19.
It promises to deliver more than 4,000 laptops to students.
The Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency is home to the University of Ghana, however laptop distribution is not limited to Legon students.
It is for all college students living in the constituency.
“Our commitment to delivering more than 4,000 laptops to higher education students at Ayawaso West began weeks ago. I pledge my support to improve education and easy learning among young people for a larger Ghana, ”he said in an Instagram post.
The seat of Ayawaso West Wuogon is one of the most controversial electoral districts in the country, as it goes against Lydia Seyram Alhassan of the PNP.
