Samuel Owusu and manager Bogdan Osekre
Ghana winger Samuel Owusu has landed in Saudi Arabia to start Al-Ahli Jeddah’s career.
Owusu joined the Blacks and Whites on a one-season loan deal from Al Fayha SC over the weekend.
The complicated wing player and his local coach Bogdan Osekre arrived at the club’s offices on Monday to close the deal.
The 24-year-old enjoyed huge success in the Saudi Pro League with Al Fayha, looting 7 goals and providing 2 assists in 28 appearances last season.
Owusu recently scored his debut goal for the Black Stars during their friendly match against Qatar earlier this month.
The former Vision FC player has 7 appearances for Ghana so far and was part of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations squad.
Owusu participated four times in the tournament in Egypt, where Ghana reached the round of 16 stage.
