Real Madrid GK Thibaut Courtois
Real Madrid have arguably the world’s fittest goalkeeper of 2020 in Thibaut Courtois. His great run of form began last fall after he bounced back from a difficult day against Club Brugge. Courtois has been exemplary ever since, leading La Liga in clean sheet percentage and savings percentage en route to the coveted Zamora Trophy last season. Winning the award on Jan Oblak and Marc-Andre ter Stegen is a great event.
This season, Courtois has excelled time and again for Real Madrid, keeping him in matches throughout the season. Even when Real come up short, such as against Shakhtar, Courtois still manages to come through with impressive one-on-one saves.
Courtois has a clean sheet in half of his La Liga appearances this season and has saved 82.6 percent of the shots he faced, according to FBRef.com.
