Rapper Koo Ntakra
Former MTN Hitmaker winner Koo Ntakra has praised Sarkodie for the privilege he gave him of appearing on the song ‘Trumpet’.
In 2016, Sarkodie featured some of the country’s young rappers on their song ‘Trumpet’ with artists like TeePhlow, Medikal, Strongman, Donzy, Pappy Kojo, and Koo Ntakra.
Koo Ntakra, who raps in his mother tongue Akuapem, revealed to Amansan Krakye on Kastle FM in Cape Coast that it was a great honor to collaborate on Sarkodie’s song.
“It was a great privilege to have the opportunity to appear on the Sarkodie song. I was so honored by Sarkodie’s unique gesture of putting me on the trumpet song. “
He continued, “You know, when it comes to Sarkodie, he pays attention to detail not to feature anyone in his song unless he feels like you have that extra drive and what he did for me gave me a lot of exposure.”
Koo Ntakra, which means ‘feathers’ in his native language, is considered by many to be one of the most versatile young rappers due to his versatility in music circles.
