Bisa Kdei Releases New Song With Gyakie

Ghanaian artist and record producer Bisa Kdei has released a new hit called ‘Sika’ featuring Gyakie, daughter of high life legend Nana Achaempong and the rapidly growing Ghanaian singer-songwriter.

The song that was released on Friday and produced by Apya tells a love story.

Bisa Kdei sang to her lover that if he was financially stable, she would realize that he loves her and she would lack nothing. He promised to fly her around the world when he got rich.

Gyakie, on the other hand, sang that despite all the challenges, she will be with her lover until the end of time.

The duo’s vocal prowess told an authentic love story and portrayed the need to be patient in love affairs.

This is the second time they have teamed up on a song, the first being ‘Sor Mi Mu’ to be released earlier this year.

Sika, which denotes ‘money’ in the Akan language, blends in with the beautiful voices of the two, making it relaxing to listen to. The song is already making waves on online video and audio platforms.

Prior to Sika’s launch, Bisa Kdei launched ‘Netwerk’ with Medikal a month ago, which had over 70,000 views on YouTube.

Bisa Kdei was nominated at the 2016 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards for Artist of the Year, Most Popular Song of the Year, Highlife Song of the Year (Mansa) and Highlife Artist of the Year.
