Sammi Awuku, the national organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (PNP), has called on the people of Karaga in the northern region to vote en masse for the parliamentary candidate (PC) Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam Anta and President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for the continuous development and transformation of the area.
According to Sammi Awuku, Karaga has benefited over the past three and a half years from seventy-eight (78) drillings located in various communities within the constituency.
Mr. Awuku stated that fifty-two (52) communities have also connected to the national grid along with government interventions such as Planting for Food and Jobs and Free Senior High School, making it imperative for the good people of Karaga to renew the mandate of the PNP president, Akufo-Addo, to continue with his transformative agenda.
Mr. Awuku made the call when he, in the company of the PNP Northern Regional Executives, joined H.E. Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam Anta during the launch of his campaign for the 2020 elections in Karaga today, Saturday 24 October 2020.
The launch, which was attended by tens of thousands of people, was also used to showcase the achievements of the PNP government in various sectors and also to defend the second term of Nana Akufo-Addo.
Also present at the launch of the manifesto of Karaga Hajia Saudatu, PNP Deputy National Women’s Organizer, North Regional President, Mohammed Baantima Samba, and his Regional Executives, Hon. Hassan Tampuli, Executive Director of the National Petroleum Authority and candidate PNP MP for Gushegu, Hon. Dominic Edith, Executive Director of the GNPC Foundation, Salam Mustapha from the Office of the Vice President and Alhaji Habib Iddrisu, the NPP Parliamentary candidate for Tolon, among others.
