“Feasibility studies have been completed so that the works can begin once the necessary approvals are received from the Cabinet and Parliament,” he said.
“Upon completion, this bridge will relieve communities in these areas of long waiting periods and the excruciating slow movement of people, goods and services by ferry across the Oti River.”
The President inspected a 15 kilometer rehabilitation of the Kete-Krachi Town roads at a cost of GH ¢ 58 million, which is expected to be completed in 12 calendar months.
It was awarded to First Sky Company Limited by the Regional Department of Urban Roads with a scope of work encompassing drainage construction, earthmoving, paving and asphalt surfacing work.

“Kete-Krachi and the entire Oti region are in my heart. I am the one who created the region and anything that brings development to the area is what the Government of Akufo-Addo will pursue ”.
The president urged the electorate to vote en masse for him and all the parliamentary candidates in the region for more development projects.
He expressed his gratitude to the Krachiwura and the people for recognizing the good works that the New Patriotic Party had done for them.
Mr. Kwasi Amoako Atta, the Minister of Roads and Highways, said that the construction of the bridge would cost approximately 125 million euros.
