The deputy reiterated his previous position that the bill was not necessary and would only end up stifling the freedom of the country’s universities.
“Because I was going to repress the freedom of the universities, then academic freedom will be repressed.
“I have held that position for a long time, so if it is not approved, it is better for the government,” said the Minority Spokesperson on Education.
