The Acting Chairman of the Nkomi-Kajaji Traditional Council in the Sene East district of the Bono East region has dismissed claims that the Akufo-Addo administration has failed to deliver on promises it made to Ghanaians prior to the 2016 elections. .

According to Nana Osore Sunkwa, no objective Ghanaian can dispute the achievements of the government manifesto, and anyone who does just refuses to face reality.

“You have kept most of the promises in your manifesto; no one can challenge that, ”Nana Sunkwa declared on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 in Kajaji in a durbar of bosses and people to welcome Vice President Bawumia at the start of his two-day tour of the East Bono Region.

“Let me give an example. For decades there has not been a moving train in Ghana, but now we see work in progress to get the trains running again,” continued Nana Sunkwa.

“We have seen the effect of planting for food and employment on our farmers; the afforestation jobs, NABCO, restoration of Teacher Training and Nursing assignments, and the biggest of all, SHS Free.

“Excellency, we have seen the digitization work that you have been doing and how it has made life easier for all of us in this country.

“Today more local people are receiving scholarships for the school because you have decentralized the application. I was a member of the district interview panel and I know how happy many parents are that their children have qualified for the scholarship.

“The issue of a new region has been in our hearts for years, and although many governments promised us, you are the ones who have kept your promise. We are very grateful.

“You made all these promises and more in your manifesto, and you have kept most of them. We know that if we give you more time you will comply with everything, “he said.

Nana Sunkwa indicated that even projects that were not on the manifesto are receiving attention.

“When President Akufo-Addo visited us not long ago, he cut grass to start work on our main road from Atebubu to Kajaji. We see works in progress and we are sure that soon we will see Coaltar on our roads ”.

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia reminded the chiefs and people of Kajaji that the December 7 elections are about safeguarding the main achievements so far on our national development agenda, and a vote for the NPP would ensure an even more equitable sharing. of the national cake in every corner and crevice of the nation.

“Give Nana Akufo-Addo and our parliamentary candidates the opportunity to better serve you. Sene East has always voted NDC, but there has been no corresponding development. But in less than 4 years of voting for a PNP government, you can see the improvements. Vote NPP and see even more development, ”urged Dr. Bawumia.
