Mahama will begin tour of the western region on Monday

Former President John Dramani Mahama will begin a four-day campaign tour of the Western Region from Monday, October 19, 2020.

NDC Western Regional Organizer Japhet Baidoo highlighting former president’s itinerary for Citi News He said the four-day campaign tour will take him to all 17 constituencies in the Western Region.

“In the 17 constituencies, the standard-bearer will address mini-public meetings of bosses and individuals, meet with various identifiable groups, visit traditional leaders, and most importantly, campaign door-to-door.”

“He is expected to start his campaign with a mini durbar of Agona-Amenfi chiefs and people, then to the Kweku Boah community in the Central Amenfi constituency and end his four-day tour in Shama district.”

The former president ended his four-day tour of the Central Region on Saturday.

While in the Central Region, Mahama interacted with traditional authorities, religious leaders, stakeholder groups, including fishermen, fishmongers, canoe owners, small miners, among others.

The NDC flag bearer also visited the electoral districts of Gomoa East, Agona West, Gomoa Central, Gomoa West, Cape Coast South, Abura-Asebu-Kwamankese and Ekumfi.

He also visited Ajumako-Enyan-Essiam, Assin North, Assin Central, Assin South, Upper Denkyira East, Upper Denkyira West, Cape Coast North, Awutu Senya East, Agona East, and Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abirem.
