Ronald Koeman was quite unhappy with Getafe defender Allan Nyom after Barcelona’s 1-0 loss at Coliseum Alfonso Pérez on Saturday.
The 32-year-old is known for his physical approach and elbowed out Lionel Messi in the first half of the match.
There were also a few more fouls along the way, while Koeman acknowledges that Nyom also insulted him during the game.
Koeman was seen deep in conversation with José Bordalas after the final whistle and then spoke about what he would be saying to his counterpart.
Koeman goes on to say:
Nyon insulted me, he showed a lot of disrespect. I will not accept it. We cannot allow that to happen in the modern game. I will not repeat it, no, but it was very ugly (what he said)– Samuel Marsden (@samuelmarsden) October 17, 2020
The loss is Barcelona’s first with Koeman and leaves the Catalan giants with seven points from their first four games and plenty for the new manager to reflect on before a busy streak of matches.
