Paris Saint-Germain coach Thomas Tuchel has revealed that Neymar will be available for the national team when he faces Manchester United, as the Brazilian rested against Nimes.
Neymar was not part of the PSG squad that beat Nimes 4-0 on Friday night with superstar Kylian Mbappe grabbing a double. Tuchel opted to put Neymar to rest after playing for Brazil in a World Cup qualifying match against Peru three days before Friday’s game.
The PSG manager says he has revealed that he expected the Brazilian to be available for the national team when he faces United next Tuesday.
“Ney has no problem. We talk together like I did with Kylian,” he said.
“We had an honest conversation and I decided to let him rest today. Tomorrow he will be with us. He will train and prepare for the game against Manchester United. He will be on the field for sure.”
The Ligue 1 giants have been without Neymar for the last four of their seven games this season.
