Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will be delighted to welcome some of their biggest names to the Merseyside derby, and his team could end up looking familiar.
After Jordan Henderson, Thiago Alcantara and Sadio Mane ended up losing the hammering 7-2 at Aston Villa, the trio will certainly be back on the team at Goodison Park, but it remains to be seen if all three start.
Henderson and Mane will surely return to the team, but Thiago can start on the bench with a view to making his first start in Liverpool on Wednesday’s Champions League trip to face Ajax in Amsterdam.
Adrian will start in goal despite being criticized for his mistake, leading to Ollie Watkins’ first game for Villa, with Alisson still on the sidelines with a shoulder problem.
Klopp has confirmed that the Brazilian is progressing well from injury, but it will be former West Ham Adrian who starts at Goodison with Caoimhin Keller as a substitute.
The back four are likely the same foursome that started Villa’s game, although Joel Matip has returned to full training this week.
The center-back’s last appearance was in last season’s Goodison goalless derby in June, and he could challenge Joe Gomez for a starting spot after the England defender’s nightmare against Villa.
Klopp is likely to go for a solid midfield three after that area of the field was invaded against Villa.

Henderson will start, with Fabinho also set to retain his spot on the side and Gini Wijnaldum will likely form the trio.
Naby Keita is out and Thiago could make an impact from the bench if necessary.
Neither Mohamed Salah nor Sadio Mane were in international service last week and will therefore be fresh, and Roberto Firmino’s two goals for Brazil perhaps saw him overtake Takumi Minamino to start in attack.
Probable Liverpool XI: Adrian, Alexander-Arnold, Gómez, Van Dijk, Robertson; Fabinho, Henderson, Wijnaldum, Salah, Firmino, Mane.
