Denis Suárez believes that Arsenal have made a signing they desperately needed

Arsenal newcomer Thomas Partey received Denis Suárez’s suggestion to start running in the Premier League, adding that the Gunners previously lacked a player of their profile.

The 27-year-old had been linked with Arsenal for several months and was said to be one of Gunners manager Mikel Arteta’s number one targets this summer.

However, with the deadline fast approaching, the Emirates Stadium team had not advanced in front of the central midfielder, signaling increasingly nervous fans.

Finally, Partey made the switch from Atlético de Madrid shortly before the transfer window closed, after Arsenal activated their £ 45m release clause.

The Ghana international signed a long-term contract at the Emirates Stadium after completing his medical and administrative formalities just before the 11pm cut-off date.

Subsequently, Partey made his way to the national team and, now back at the club, could be in line for his Manchester City debut this Saturday.

Suarez, who was on loan to Arsenal last year, is confident about how well Partey will get to the Premier League.

“Arsenal lacked a player of that profile,” the Celta de Vigo ace and former Barcelona player told Goal.com. “Thomas, because of his physique, will feel comfortable in England.”

Even before the deadline, Arsenal had enjoyed a decent transfer window, while the new Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang deal finally put an end to that saga.

However, a solid, high-caliber complete midfielder continued to elude the Gunners, and many fans were increasingly exasperated with the lack of movement on that front.

It’s okay that ends well, however, Partey is now an Arsenal player, and now the team looks very exciting.
