💬 Ronaldo’s emotional message to Neymar after his latest achievement

Brazilian legend Ronaldo sent a heartfelt message to Paris Saint-Germain ace Neymar after he beat his record for goals with the national team.

The 28-year-old hit a hattrick Tuesday night when Brazil beat Peru 4-2 in a World Cup qualifying match to move to second place behind only Pelé.

The hattrick took him to 64 goals and two over Ronaldo, whose numbers now rise to 62.

Pelé holds Brazil’s all-time leading scorer record with 77 goals, but at 28, it seems like a matter of time before Neymar surpasses the legendary forward.

“All my respect to you @neymarjr!” Ronaldo wrote on his Instagram on Wednesday.

“Play a lot, give assists, play, dribble and score. The sky’s the limit. Fly, boy!”

“What a beautiful story you are writing. A well-rounded and increasingly mature player. Crack! Handling pressure off the field is sometimes more challenging than the ball itself.

Now tell me: where did we come from, where did we get … who is going to tell us what is impossible? Keep trusting your instincts because the talent is yours and no one can take it away from you.

“You have many records to break and marks to set. Proud to see a Brazilian at the top!”
