Lautaro proves worthy of Barcelona with an unbeatable start to the season – Ghana Latest Football News, Live Score, Results

Lautaro Martínez was the focus of Barcelona’s latest transfer market, when the Inter forward appeared to be heading to the Camp Nou from Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

However, the forward’s transfer was blocked and he remained at Inter, with his start to the season proving to be extremely impressive, scoring three goals and providing an assist in his first three Serie A matches.

His remarkable performances earned him a call-up to the Argentine squad, where he was part of the team that beat Bolivia 2-1 in La Paz on Tuesday, as well as the game against Ecuador on October 9.

Although Lautaro did not appear to be very in sync with his teammates in the previous match against Ecuador, he rose to the occasion for the match at the Hernando Siles Stadium. The forward struggled to score the first goal of the game shortly before halftime, before helping Joaquín Correa in the winning goal in the 80th minute.

Lautaro constantly provided Lionel Messi, and had it not been for Bolivian goalkeeper Carlos Lampe, the Barcelona captain would have jumped in on the spot as well.

El Toro is having an unbeatable season even after his hopes of moving to Barcelona were dashed. Of course, this would have affected any footballer emotionally, but it seems that it has only strengthened his game.

It will certainly be difficult for Inter to retain the forward in the next transfer window, if he continues to perform at this level. However, Lautaro’s agent had little to say about his future with the club.

“It is not appropriate to talk about Barcelona when he plays for Inter,” Lautaro’s agent, Rolando Zárate, told Radio Trend Topic.

“He is happy at Inter. To speak of the transfer market would be disrespectful to the club that opened the doors to play in Europe.”
