The entire playing staff and coaching staff of Asante Kotoko have left Kumasi for Koforidua, where preparations for next season are expected to continue.
The group left Kumasi late in the morning on Sunday, October 11, 2020.
While in Koforidua, they will stay at the Royal Plaza Hotel and train on the All Nations university campus.
The trip was originally scheduled for last week, but had to be postponed due to some last minute events.
It was reported in local media that the team was unable to make the trip as originally scheduled due to the Kotoko team bus breaking down.
However, club officials denied such reports and stated that they had received offers to train abroad that they were studying.
It is still unknown if those offers still remain as they are, but what is established is that the team is ready to camp in Koforidua for the next few weeks to prepare for the new season.
Maxwell Konadu’s team is expected to fight for national honors and also represent Ghana in the CAF Champions League.
