A campaign manager for the ruling New Patriotic Party (PNP) in the northern region’s Tolon constituency has been killed in a gruesome motorcycle accident, MyNewsGh.com confirmed.
The incident occurred on Saturday, October 10, 2020, in one of the communities while returning from an assignment in the area.
Until his death Hudu was a member of the Cheshagu Electoral Area Assembly in Tolon district.
Confirming the incident, the PNP parliamentary candidate, Alhaji Habib Iddrisu, said that “a sad incident occurred at the Tamale University Hospital, where yesterday they took him out of a motorcycle accident.
“Until his passing tonight, Mr. Hudu was my campaign manager and V20 coordinator for the Tolon constituency. He was also the assembly member for the Cheshagu constituency in the Tolon constituency.
“Following this unfortunate event, I have directed my team to immediately suspend all campaign programs until further notice.
“May Allah forgive our tireless and kind compatriot his shortcomings and grant him eternal bliss in Jannah.
“I love you and I will never forget the time we shared”
