John Dumelo, a parliamentary candidate on the National Democratic Congress (NDC) list for the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency, has sympathized with the flood victims in his area.

According to the video he shared on social media, the actor-turned-politician was seen walking in the muddy waters that have displaced residents and left many stranded.

John Dumelo promised to fix the problem when the people in the constituency vote him for power in the upcoming general election on December 7, 2020.

“How long can we continue to leave our western land people in this situation when it rains? When we tried to fix this, we were detained, but those who detained us have not done anything about it in Ayawaso West yet. Trust me, I will fix this when be chosen! # changeiscoming # idey4u

It should be remembered that at some point this year, John Dumelo took a personal initiative to build a multipurpose bridge for the people in his constituency who are more affected every time it rains.

The local assembly stopped works on the bridge after excavators and other logistics were purchased and were on site. According to the assembly, John Dumelo did not request permission before the act of benevolence began, for which he was arrested.

However, the absence of the bridge John Dumelo was building had left many stranded after the heavy early morning downpour.
