The Deputy National Vice President of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has said that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) must fight fairly if they want to beat the NDC as they “will not accept results of electoral fraud.”

Saeed Sinare, who is the former ambassador to Saudi Arabia, said that the NDC will employ a large number of observers to closely monitor the December 7 elections, to ensure the party’s victory.

He spoke to JoyNews at Atimatim Maase’s Zongo Chief’s facility in the Afigya Kwabre Sur constituency of the Ashanti region.

Alhaji Sinari advised party faithful to be more vigilant on election day.

“If you let a thief enter your home, the thief will definitely steal. So I tell my people that we need to be vigilant on D-day. “

He said elections are won on Election Day, and therefore the party will not allow only polling station agents to run the elections.

“We are going to have observers who will be there to monitor the ballot 40 or 50 feet away to make sure we get the results we want at the end of the day,” he revealed.

He reiterated the party’s call for a free and fair election, adding that the party leadership will not accept any results of electoral fraud.

“We will never accept a result that is fraud. We want free and fair elections. If you want to beat the NDC, hit us good. “

Alhaji Sinari also advised the youth of Zongo to be careful and not engage in violent acts.

William Owuraku Aidoo, member of parliament for the Afigya Kwabre Sur constituency, re-emphasized the need for the youth of Zongo to help maintain the existing peace in the country.

The newly installed by Atimatim Maase Zongo asked for unity among his people.
