Luis Suárez has warned that he will find a way to make fun of Barcelona bosses if he scores against his former club next month.

Suárez was sold to Atlético de Madrid after being told he had no future with the Catalan giants.

And while the former Liverpool striker insists that he will not celebrate if he finds the back of the net when Barça visit on November 22, he will make his feelings clear to Barça president Josep Maria Bartomeu.

Suárez said: “I’m not going to shout ‘goal’ but I will point out those responsible. I spent six years there and felt that I had earned respect.

“I deserved to know my destiny before I found out from the press.

“Also coach Ronald Koeman came to tell me that he doesn’t count on me. But that was after the club’s management had already said that there was going to be a change of players.

“That raises questions about whether it was the coach’s decision or a directive from above.”

The Uruguayan has also recently assured that his departure from Barcelona was due to his friendship with Lionel Messi.

He told ESPN: “There are many contradictions [in Barcelona’s version of events].

“I would have looked for a solution if it had been a financial problem and if it had been a sports issue I could have understood it. I am not clear why they made the decision they did.

“I think they wanted to get me off Messi’s side. Perhaps it bothered them that I had a good relationship with Leo.

“Maybe they didn’t want me to be with me so much. However, I can’t see any reason to think that would harm the team.”

“We were constantly looking for each other on the field, but for the good of the team. Maybe they wanted me to play with more partners.

“That might have something to do with it. I can’t find any other reason to want to part because we get along well on the field.”
