Congratulations and accolades to Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford have received an MBE on the Queen’s honors list.
“I am incredibly honored and humbled,” Rashford said on his Instagram account.
“As a young black man from Wythenshawe, I never thought I’d be accepting an MBE, let alone an MBE at the age of 22.
“This is a very special moment for me and my family, but especially for my mother, who is the true recipient of the honor.”
‘It would be an injustice to my community and the families that I have met and spoken with if I do not take this opportunity to respectfully urge the Prime Minister, who recommended me for this honor, to support our children during the middle of October – term with an extension of the voucher regime, as the licensing regime comes to an end and we are faced with rising unemployment.
Another sticky cast, but one that will give the parents of millions of children in the UK one less thing to worry about.
“Let’s stand together to say that no child in the UK should go to bed hungry.”
One of the first to congratulate Rashford was David Beckham, who replied ‘Congratulations buddy, you’re still that leader.’
Jadon Sancho responded with heart and goat emojis.

MBE 🇬🇧 I feel incredibly honored and humbled. As a young black man from Wythenshawe, I never thought I would accept an MBE, let alone an MBE at the age of 22. This is a very special moment for me and my family, but particularly for my mother, who is truly deserving. recipient of honor. The fight to protect our most vulnerable children is far from over. It would be an injustice to my community and the families that I have met and spoken with if I did not take this opportunity to respectfully urge the Prime Minister, who recommended me for this honor, to support our children during the October semester. with an extension of the voucher program, as the licensing program comes to an end and we are faced with increasing unemployment. Another sticky cast, but one that will give the parents of millions of children in the UK just one less thing to worry about. Let’s stand together to say that no child in the UK should go to bed hungry. As I have said many times before, no matter your feeling or opinion, not having access to food is NEVER the child’s fault.
Fans also flocked to social media to praise the young forward.
