The Ghana Football Association has launched the matches for the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League season, which is scheduled to begin the weekend of November 13-16 at match venues across the country.
The next season is expected to run through the weekend of July 16-18, 2021.
Ashantigold SC, Asante Kotoko SC, Medeama SC will start the new season at home, while Hearts of Oak, Karela FC and Dreams FC will be on tour on the first day of the season.
Cape Coast Mysterious Dwarfs FC will welcome neighboring Elmina Sharks with the match between Aduana Stars and Hearts of Oak that promises to be the “Match of the Week”.
- Weekend games can be played on Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Monday
- Weekday games can be played on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.
- Matches can be played in the mornings, afternoons or evenings, depending on kick-off times agreed with Television Partners, StarTimes.
- There may be double headers at some match venues.
Specific dates, time and games will be announced after the Club Licensing Board presents the approved venues for the season.
