Information arriving Peacefmonline indicates that the National Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (PNP) has been involved in a traffic accident in Ejisu-Konongo in the Ashanti Region.
The accident occurred while Sammi Awuku and her team were heading to Koforidua in the Eastern Region after a training program with party organizers and volunteers ahead of the 2020 elections.
According to the account of a witness, a tricycle crossed one of the convoy vehicles in Ejisu and the vehicle collided with the one carrying the National Organizer.
The National Organizer’s vehicle went off the road and was damaged in the process.
Sammi Awuku and her driver suffered minor injuries.
The national organizer who has been training party organizers and mobilizers before the elections was also seen yesterday in the North West in the company of Justin Kodua Frimpong, YEA Executive Director, Nana Tima Boakye, Free SHS Deputy Coordinator, Mark Sasu Mensah General Director of the Computerized School Selection and Placement System, Maame Afia Akoto, Deputy General Director of MASLOC and Alfreda Aboagye, Eastern Regional Director of MASLOC.
