The parliamentary candidate on the Democratic National Congress (NDC) ballot, for the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency, John Dumelo has finally submitted his nomination forms.

He successfully submitted the forms on Wednesday September 7, 2020 at the EC District office in East Legon.
He was seen traveling in a pickup truck as he happily greeted his prospective constituents after submitting his nomination.
In a Facebook post seen by YEN.com.gh, Dumelo noted that this marks the beginning of the change that the folks at AWW are seeking.

John Dumelo is running against Lydia Seyram Alhassan, who is the incumbent Member of Parliament for the Ayawaso West Wuogon seat.
She was voted in 2019 to replace her husband, who was then the deputy before his untimely death after a brief illness.
Dumelo appears to be a stiff competition for Lydia Alhassan as she has undertaken various social intervention initiatives in the constituency, all in an attempt to remove Ayawaso’s seat to the incumbent.
