CRISTIANO RONALDO and Sergio Ramos have not spoken for two years, according to reports.
The 35-year-old Portuguese star left Real Madrid in 2018 and joined Juventus for £ 99m.
And Marca acknowledges that the former teammates have not spoken to each other since then, since Ronaldo was’ upset ‘by Ramos’ snub to the Ballon d’Or, when he supported Luka Modric.
Ronaldo won two LaLiga titles, two Copas del Rey and four Champions League in nine years at Madrid.
Since then, he has won the Serie As back-to-back with Juventus, while Real Madrid won the league title last season.
Despite leaving on good terms and highly respected, he reportedly felt rejected when Ramos endorsed his teammate Modric at Real Madrid for the 2018 Ballon d’Or.
Croatia’s World Cup runner-up won a landslide victory with 753 voting points, while Ronaldo came in second with 476, beating Antoine Griezmann.
Ronaldo, who won his fifth and final crown in 2017, did not attend the award ceremony last year when Modric presented the trophy to Lionel Messi.
His relationships with many of his Real Madrid teammates are believed to have been broken, with the exception of winger Marcelo.
However, Marca suggests that Ronaldo continues to have a special bond with the Real Madrid board, including president Florentino Pérez.
Ronaldo did attend the last Clásico played at the Bernabéu but arrived shortly before kick-off, left before the end and could not go down to the locker room.
The ex-teammates are in the squad tonight as Portugal hosts Spain in an international friendly.
