President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo had to knock down a pole showing a defense wall against the sea in Indonesia as one built by his administration, according to the news website mynewsGH.

Communicators from the ruling New Patriotic Party (PNP) had difficulty justifying or explaining the obvious mistake on the part of the managers of the president’s social media platforms.
They subsequently provided photographs of sea defense walls that they claim were built under the Akufo-Addo administration, but NDC supporters responded again as projects executed under former President John Dramani Mahama.
The issue generated much discussion on social media, with some accusing the government of trying to mislead the population, while others see it as a mistake by the president’s social media assistants.
Felix Ofosu Kwakye, former deputy minister under the chairmanship of John Mahama and communicator for the NDC, lashed out saying: “For a president who infamously and insincerely questioned the incontestable content of the Green Book, it is surprising that he published foreign projects and artist impressions of projects not in Ghana as evidence of achievement. “
But Kofi Ofosu Nkansah argued that there are maritime defense walls built under President Akufo-Addo.
