Davido Music Worldwide Limited (DMW) has issued a statement announcing its decision to terminate signer Lil Frosh’s contract after he was charged with domestic violence.

In a vivid statement shared on Davido’s Instagram page, the label condemned any form of domestic violence and disassociated itself from the young artist.

Regarded as one of the most promising prodigies to be signed to the Afrobeat superstar’s record label, Lil Frosh was recently involved in a domestic violence case as he was accused of beating up his girlfriend.

The lady identified as Gift Camille, who goes by @thecutegeminme on Instagram, shared photos of herself beaten to the pulp with swelling and bruises all over her face on social media.

Born Sanni Goriola Wasiu, Lil Frosh’s career, which has not yet fully started, has taken a negative turn in the space of a day after the story broke, as he lost his deal with DMW and would face charges of domestic violence.

The statement issued by DMW stated categorically that there was no way they could condone such an act of callousness and severed all connection to him or his actions.

Miss Camille, after the screenshots of a chat seen on social networks between her and a person from the media, agreed to tell her story to the world.

Meanwhile, Camille’s brother and manager in a previous post revealed that this was not the first time that Frosh had abused his sister and client.

He revealed that he had previously picked up Camille from the artist’s home after Frosh had physically abused her.
