The incident occurred on Saturday, the Institute announced in a statement.

The initial observation is that the Institute’s facilities were raided, looted and looted by unknown persons who are suspected of doing so in search of information.

“The stolen items included critical and vital documents, as well as laptops, flash drives and the sum of GHC12,000.00,” the statement said.

He added: “This incident appears to follow a similar robbery in 2016, during which intruders also took very important documents. In fact, this is very abhorrent. Danquah Institute management notes that laptops and flash drives contain proprietary data, draft investigation reports and minutes, which are always kept safe in the office.

Therefore, the management of the Danquah Institute has taken precautionary measures to reinforce the security in the Institute and also appeals to the general public to assist the police while they carry out their investigations on the matter.
